Elisabeth Mack, MBA, BSN, RN is a visionary nurse, educator, and entrepreneur redefining healing in the 21st century. As co-founder of Holistic Caring & The Green Nurse® and CEO of Bloom Hemp®, she integrates conventional medicine with holistic healing. Elisabeth develops educational platforms to empower patients and providers to re-evaluate contemporary healthcare by integrating scientific evidence, spiritual principles, and plant-based medicines.

She possesses thirty years of experience in conventional healthcare, complemented by ten years in the wine industry alongside her late husband. Disillusioned by the limits of the traditional system, she co-founded Holistic Caring & The Green Nurse to close the gap between medical science and holistic healing. Her leadership has been recognized with numerous honors, including Educator of the Year by the American Cannabis Nurses Association (2023) and Entrepreneur of the Year by the Cannabis Nurses Network (2022). She served three years as Treasurer of ACNA and presently holds board positions with CVCAN and LANORML, actively advocating for safe access, ethical standards, and informed policy concerning cannabis therapeutics.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Elisabeth is a dedicated spiritual seeker whose faith has evolved from adherence to religious doctrines into a dynamic and active practice centered on truth, justice, and love. Her philosophy is simple: always do the right thing, and leave the world better than you found it.

Her debut memoir, Wine, Women & Weed, serves as both a confessional narrative and a celebratory account, detailing her experiences and personal reinvention across various life stages influenced by wine, women, and cannabis. The memoir celebrates LGBTQ+ love and chronicles her journey of healing and peace. Elisabeth shares her story with the intention of inspiring, liberating, and providing guidance to others navigating periods of adversity.

Today, she continues her mission: to expand consciousness, elevate conversations, and create a world where progressive healing is rooted in truth, dignity, and compassion.

A seasoned healthcare and insurance executive turned cannabis nurse pioneer, Elisabeth helps patients and professionals navigate plant medicine with confidence—covering product selection, dosing, interactions, and timing. She is a licensed provider for the California Board of Registered Nursing and the author of Cannabis for Health: Become a Coach, a groundbreaking curriculum that integrates cannabinoids into holistic and functional medicine.

– Favorite wine varietal = Bordeaux, or a rich American Meritage. I love the components as well – Cab, Cab Franc, Merlot, and a lovely buttery Chardonnay on a warm afternoon!
– Favorite place you’ve ever lived = Hands down, San Diego. It truly is America’s best city! It was lovely to grow up in Chicago, and I adored the Big City, art, and museums. San Francisco was my other favorite city and I spent my mid-20’s there. I fit right in to the Haight scene and loved the bars and restaurants in the Castro and Mission districts.
– What inspires you = nature, music, studying business, and more and more art. I had to outgrow my mother telling me to be serious all the time, so now I am expanding rapidly!
– Your life mantra = everything is temporary. That’s right up there with ‘this too shall pass’. I’ve lived through a lot…and I keep outlasting the misery to find joy again.
